Michele Martin is an independent workforce and social media consultant who specializes in helping organizations use social media tools for work and learning. She provides training, program design and technical assistance services to government and nonprofit clients from all over the country. She is currently spearheading the DiscoverAbility NJ project for the New Jersey Department of Human Services/Division of Disability Services. This is a multi-year plan that is helping individuals with disabilities, their families, service providers and employers use social media and other tools to support the employment of individuals with disabilities. She maintains a blog at www.michelemmartin.com, where she writes about issues related to technology, work and learning.

Jared Smith is the Associate Director of WebAIM. He is a highly demanded presenter and trainer and has provided web accessibility training to thousands of developers throughout the world. With degrees in Marketing, Business Education, and Instructional Technology and over 13 years experience working in the web design, development, and accessibility field, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that is used to help others create and maintain highly accessible web content. Much of his written work, including a broad range of tutorials, articles, and other materials, is featured on the WebAIM site.

Richard Petty is Program Director at Independent Living Research Utilization (ILRU). Since 1998 he has directed the IL NET, a national project which provides training and technical assistance to over 500 centers for independent living and 56 statewide independent living councils - organizations which foster community independence for people with disabilities. Previously, he served for 10 years as Executive Director of Mainstream, an advocacy oriented center for independent living in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Darrell Jones is Program Coordinator for the IL NET at Independent Living Research Utilization and works with a large multi-disciplinary training team in the development and delivery of training and technical assistance to centers for independent living and statewide independent living councils. She was the founding executive director of the Rochester (NY) Center for Independent Living and the Association of Independent Living Centers in New York.
